As athletic trainers (AT), we play a pivotal role in the health and well-being of athletes at all levels. From high school sports teams to professional leagues, ATs ensure that athletes perform at their best and are safeguarded from injuries and health issues. However, there is another crucial area where athletic trainers need to stay informed and engaged beyond the athletic training room and the field: political advocacy.

The National Athletic Trainers’ Association Political Action Committee (NATAPAC) is a key player in advocating for the interests and needs of athletic trainers on a national level. The NATAPAC works to ensure that the voice of athletic trainers is heard in legislative and regulatory matters that affect our profession.
