Mastering Multiple Choice Questions on the BOC Exam: Part Two
In part two of this series ( start with part one here), we’ll dive into how to master multiple choice questions on the Board of Certification (BOC) exam for athletic trainers. When answering multiple-choice questions, having a strategic approach can significantly improve your chances of selecting the correct answer, especially when you’re uncertain. Unlike other tests you might have encountered, remember that there is only one correct answer for each question, which differentiates these from multi-select or alternative question types.
Read the Question Thoroughly
One common mistake is rushing through the question to get to the answer choices, which can lead to misinterpreting what is being asked. Take your time to read the entire question carefully before jumping to conclusions. After reading, try rephrasing the question in your own words to ensure you understand it fully.
